OPENING SESSION STARTS JUNE 18, 2016

Summer Program

For over ten years, Granville Academy of Waterbury has presented an annual summer program. The summer program was designed to act as an intermediate educational resource for students transitioning from grade to grade. Throughout the summer, students are exposed to exciting and fun educational activities. Such learning objectives include an introduction to coding, exposure to many S.T.E.M. activities, and educational field trips (Harlem Book Fair, Bronx Zoo, etc.). The summer program provides the opportunity for youth to explore different aspects of learning, while allowing them to enhance their critical thinking, and communication skills. Collectively, students are introduced to new opportunities; thus enhancing their chances for academic success.
